THIRTY YA Robot Cyberpunk Dystopian PREQUEL 2 EXOTIQA WORLD eBook M Black Reviews
This novella adds great background to the Exotiqa character of ‘Thirty’. I have so enjoyed this series! I am not generally a fan of this genre, but this series is marvelous. The writer has managed to get me totally invested from the beginning. All of the characters are deep, realistic and well fleshed out. The emotions and motivations ring true. The plot is viable and complex. I will be reading more of this author’s work and more of this series! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to share my honest review.
Thirty is a bot with differences, as does the bot who later calls herself Maci. They begin to question why certain of their governing rules should be, and why they seem to be able to violate some of the rules.
Good characterization and plotting.
I loved being able to get to know Thirty better. This story really pulls out his character and explains him to the reader.
A really gripping read. Well written and a great introduction for Exotiqa. I actually haven't read Exotiqa yet, but definitely plan to after reading this. I'm looking forward to it.
This book was just as good if not better than the first!!! M. Black has painted a wonderful picture of the future of humans and bots. I enjoyed reading / feeling about how Thirty is "born" with his consciousness. Maci is there to help him and together they form a plan for survival.
What a great short prequel to Exotiqa. It was a blast to visit Maci and Thirty. In this well written story and we get to be there as Thirty wakes up in the factory, meets Maci for the first time and learns what life is. Interesting to read how the flexbots wake up and start out. Just fun to read.
A great theme, robots with a true consciousness. I read Exotiqa and I just loved being able to get Thirty’s pov and much more detail of his birth, meeting Maci and his early days at the factory. You really get a feel for what these robots are “feeling”. Short read that just gives you “more” you do not have to read it but just adds so much more to the other books. This one as well as the others are standalone, so you are not forced to buy all of them to get the whole story. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed. I loved Exotiqa and I will definitely will be reading Sphere next.
